Prepaid Credit Card

This FAQ page answers common questions about your prepaid credit card reward or promotional offer. It explains how the process works, what to expect and what to do if you haven’t received your prepaid credit card.

  • Your prepaid credit card will be processed upon completion of your install. In 6-8 weeks after the completed installation of your equipment, if you have provided an email, you can expect to receive an email with a one-time redemption digital token from [email protected] to redeem your prepaid credit card.

    NOTE: Please check your junk or spam email or add the email address above from “My Payment Vault” to ensure it lands in your inbox.

    If an email address was not provided, in 6-8 weeks after your completed installation, you’ll receive a physical prepaid credit card by mail delivered to the address the installation was completed.
  • You can use the redemption digital token to redeem a virtual or physical credit card.

    If you choose the virtual option, your prepaid credit card will be available immediately with the option to add it to your mobile wallet.

    If you choose the physical option, a prepaid credit card will be mailed to you. An email notification from [email protected] is sent when your card is shipped. NOTE: It could take up to 3-4 weeks from the date you redeemed the physical card to arrive by mail.
  • The digital token to redeem your prepaid credit card is set to expire 6 months after it is issued.

    You would have received a reminder email 30 days after the initial email with the same one-time redemption digital token from [email protected]. Try to search for this sender email address to locate the email to retrieve your digital token.

    If your digital token has expired, the option to redeem a virtual prepaid credit card is no longer available. Any digital tokens not redeemed will automatically be used to issue a physical prepaid credit card that will be mailed to you within 3-4 weeks.
  • In 6-8 weeks after the completed installation of your equipment, you would have either received an email from “My Payment Vault” with the one-time redemption digital token or a physical prepaid credit card mailed to the address the installation was completed. If it’s been more than 8 weeks since the completed installation of your equipment, please contact Enercare for support.
  • In 6-8 weeks after the completed installation of your equipment, if you have provided an email, you can expect to receive an email with an one-time redemption digital token from [email protected] to redeem your prepaid credit card.

    If an email address was not provided, you’ll receive a physical prepaid credit card by mail delivered to the address the installation was completed at.

    Step by Step Redemption Instructions:

    1. Open your email from [email protected].

    2. Click on the red “CLICK FOR YOUR REWARD” button, and you’ll be directed to the payment website with the option to select a virtual or physical prepaid credit card.

    Note: If the red button doesn’t redirect you, visit the payment website by clicking on the red “website” hyperlink. You’ll see a login box, select the “Token” tab and enter the digital token in your email highlighted in the yellow box in step 1 and click the “Continue” button to see the option page above.

    3. After selecting your virtual or physical prepaid credit card, you’ll be prompted to review and confirm your personal information. Once you have reviewed your information and made any necessary corrections, click “Confirm” to continue.

    4. On the agreement screen, scroll to review the terms and conditions and confirm whether or not you agree to the terms and conditions.

    5. If you’ve selected the Virtual card option, you will see the “Success!” confirmation page, and receive an email from My Payment Vault with the email address [email protected] and Subject Line: “You chose a Virtual Card!” confirming your order.

    Your card is ready to use immediately and you can add it to your mobile wallets.

    6. If you’ve selected the Physical card option, you will see the “Success!” confirmation page, and receive an email from My Payment Vault with the email address [email protected] and Subject Line: “You Chose a Physical Card!” confirming your order.

    When your order is shipped, you will receive an email from My Payment Vault with the email address [email protected] and the Subject Line: “Your Physical Card has shipped!”

    Your prepaid card is shipped and ready to use and will arrive with an Enercare branded letter.
    • Cards are issued pre-activated and ready to use.
    • Card can be used like a regular credit card in most retail establishments.
    • Cards will not work at ATMs.
    • Card will not work for gambling establishments.
    • Cards will not work if the purchase is more than the remaining balance on the card.
    • Cards will not work for recurring payments (such as setting up pre-authorized bill payments).
    • Card will not work for pay-at-the-pump transactions at gas stations, but you can still use it to pay inside with the cashier.
  • Redeemed virtual or physical prepaid credit cards will have a 24-month expiry from the date of redemption.
  • For transaction and balance inquiries, you can visit account.mypaymentvault.com or 1-866-230-3809. The contact information is also on the back of the prepaid credit card.
  • Your prepaid credit card expires 24 months from the date of redemption. If your card is within 60 days of its expiry date, you may be eligible for an extension, subject to reissuing fees.   • At this moment, you can only pay your bill with a Visa or Mastercard credit card. Prepaid credit cards are not accepted.
  • If you have misplaced or lost your prepaid credit card, you can visit account.mypaymentvault.com or 1-866-230-3809 to have the card re-issued for a fee.
  • You can access your virtual card at any time after redemption by clicking on the smart link in the emails from “My Payment Vault”.

    If you no longer have the email, you can visit account.mypaymentvault.com or 1-866-230-3809 to have the email re-sent.  The contact information is on the back of the prepaid credit card.
