Supporting Sustainability
In November 2023, Enercare committed to investing $500,000 over three years in Habitat for Humanity’s Sustainability Grants program to help build more energy-efficient affordable homes. We are the largest single provider of these grants that build homes that have less carbon emissions and create cost savings over time for homeowners.
In partnering with Habitat for Humanity Canada, we are proud to give employees the opportunity to expand their impact in the community. In 2025, our employees spent over 500 volunteer hours supporting the building of new homes and donated over $40,000 to the organization.
Building Awareness and Opportunities
Our Women in Trades Committee is active in the community, working hard to bring greater awareness of the opportunities for women to join the skilled trades and fundraising to support various charitable organizations.
