- Selling your property: As a seller, you’re responsible for the rental agreement until it’s transferred to the new buyer. To transfer the rental agreement:
- Inform your real estate lawyer about your Enercare rental equipment.
- Validate that equipment and rental agreement are listed in the Agreement of Purchase and Sale (APS).
- Alternatively, arrange for the buyer to complete an Assumption Agreement with the buyer.
- Contact Enercare and share the APS or Assumption Agreement.
- Provide the move out date and new address submitting a move request through My Account
- Check your APS to determine if there is any rental equipment at the property.
- If you are currently responsible for Enercare billing, submit a move request through My Account
- Provide details like your move-out date and tenant information.
- Notify your landlord that we’ll be contacting them to confirm your move-out.
- If you are not responsible for Enercare billing, no action is required. Your landlord may contact Enercare to remove you as a service contact.
- Your landlord can contact Enercare to add you as a service contact to allow you to book and manage service calls for Enercare rental equipment at the rental property.
- Effective August 24, 2026, Enercare charges for products, plan, and services will be billed to the landlord.
- After this time, new tenants cannot be set up as the billable customer. Existing tenants will continue their account status until the end of their tenancy.
- If you have a 12-digit Enercare account number:
- Log in to My Account.
- Click the Billing icon in the top menu bar. You’ll be directed to the Billing overview page.
- Your balance will be displayed under the “Total account due” section.
- If you have a 12-digit Enercare account number:
- Log into My Account.
- Click the Billing icon in the top menu bar. You’ll be directed to the “Billing overview” page.
- If the bill is a recent transaction, you can download the bill by clicking the download button in the “Recent transactions” table, otherwise click the “View more history” button above the table to access up to 24 months of billing history.
- Click on the icon under the “Download” column to download a copy of your bill.
- If you have a 12-digit account number: Log into or sign up for My Account using your 12-digit Enercare Account number and the postal code of your property. If you have a 10-digit account number: Log into our Enercare Billing Portal to view your bill and manage your billing preferences.
