How To Add Custom Icons for Smarter Home Scenes and Scheduling

The Enercare Smarter Home mobile app offers complete customization allowing for an easier and more personalized user experience. When you create scenes and schedules, you can manage each of them with different icons and colours, helping you easily decipher and find them faster when you need to. 

Here’s how to add custom icons for all your scheduled scenes

  1. Log into the Enercare Smarter Home mobile app
  2. From the menu panel, click ‘Scenes’ and click the ‘+’ button located at the top right of the screen
  3. Click ‘Change Icon’ under ‘Add Scene’
  4. All of the options for icons you can choose will be displayed. Select the icon and choose a colour you wish for that specific scene. Then click ‘Done’
  5. Now that you have selected the icon for your scene, you can set your scene by clicking ‘Add +’ next to ‘Devices’.

Here’s how to change the existing icons for your scheduled scenes:

  1. Log into the Enercare Smarter Home mobile app
  2. From the menu panel, click ‘Scenes’ and click the arrow next to the scene you wish to change the icon for
  3. Click ‘Edit’ at the top right corner and click ‘Change Icon’ under ‘Edit Scene’
  4. Choose the new icon from the options listed and the colour you wish to change it to and click ‘Done’
  5. Select ‘Save’ located at the top right corner to save your changes

Organizing the order of icons

One of the customizable features for your Enercare Smarter Home Scenes is the ability to organize the order of your icons. This is important since only four icons will display on the home screen at a time. 

Here’s how to change the order of your icons: 

  1. Log into the Enercare Smarter Home mobile app
  2. From the menu panel, click ‘Scenes’ and click the double arrow icon located at the top right of your screen
  3. Click the three lines on the right of the scene and drag the icon up or down in the order that you wish
  4. Once you have your icons organized in the sequence you wish, press ‘Done’ at the top right corner of the screen
