What is Reverse Osmosis?
Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment is a process where pressurized water passes through a semi-permeable membrane to remove 90-99.99% of dissolved salts, metals, and other contaminants.3 The membrane consists of tiny pores that prevent anything larger than a water molecule from passing through and filters out contaminants such as chemicals, unwanted ions, and sediment particles. What you’re left with is cleaner water that your family can enjoy.

Why Consider a Reverse Osmosis System?
A reverse osmosis system is a cost-effective way to remove chemicals and contaminants from your water so you can enjoy purified water right from a faucet in your home.
Say Goodbye to Plastic Bottles
Enjoy a continuous supply of filtered water right in your home without the hassle of buying, transporting, storing, and disposing plastic water bottles. Feel great knowing that you have access to filtered water without the guilt of throwing away plastic water bottles.
What it Does
- Powerful purification: Reverse osmosis removes 90-99.99% of contaminants such as salt, manganese, arsenic, cyanide, fluoride, lead, and calcium.4
- Easy maintenance: Replacing a reverse osmosis filter is simple and quick to do, requiring no special tools or messy cleanup.
- High volume: Enercare’s reverse osmosis system products can filter up to 500 gallons of water a day.
What You Gain
- Everything tastes better: Reverse osmosis water has no odour, so it tastes better straight out of the tap. And because it’s free of salt, chlorine and other chemicals, your coffee and cooking taste better, too.
- Reduce plastic waste: A continuous supply of pure and clean water in your home eliminates the need for water in plastic bottles — 11 million tons of plastic end up in the ocean every year.5
- More cost-effective: You can save more than 43% compared to buying bottled water.6

Common Questions About Reverse Osmosis Systems

Tankless: 16” x 5.5” x 17” - If properly maintained by changing the filters as per manufacturer guidelines, a reverse osmosis system should last a very long time.
