Grizzl-E EV Chargers

At Enercare we’re happy to partner with Grizzl-E to offer a Level 2 EV charger made in Canada, built for Canada, with charging speeds of up to 48 km/hr. Using an open-source communication standard, it can connect via Wi-Fi to different applications, giving you a smart home charging experience you can manage wirelessly. The Grizzl-E charger is protected by a heavy-duty, airtight enclosure that is water- and fire-resistant, can withstand temperatures ranging from -30 to 50 °C, and is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It’s also compatible with all makes of electric vehicle using the J1772 charger (adaptors are available to convert Tesla cars to J1772).

  • The Grizzl-E Smart EV Charger is compatible with all EVs that use a J1772 connector. If your EV is a Tesla, you will have to purchase an adaptor to convert your connector into a J1772 connector.
  • There isn’t a right or wrong time to charge your vehicle, but electricity is often more expensive during the day when demand is highest and less expensive during the night when demand is lowest. If your utility charges variable rates, you can save money by charging during “off-peak” hours.
  • No, the Grizzl-E Smart EV Charger can be installed inside or outside.
  • For a Level 2 charger, you’ll need a 240-volt outlet, which usually requires a 200-amp panel. Our qualified electrician will do a full assessment to confirm what works best for your home.
  • No, we do not currently offer EV chargers for condos.
