- The Grizzl-E Smart EV Charger is compatible with all EVs that use a J1772 connector. If your EV is a Tesla, you will have to purchase an adaptor to convert your connector into a J1772 connector.
- There isn’t a right or wrong time to charge your vehicle, but electricity is often more expensive during the day when demand is highest and less expensive during the night when demand is lowest. If your utility charges variable rates, you can save money by charging during “off-peak” hours.
- No, the Grizzl-E Smart EV Charger can be installed inside or outside.
- For a Level 2 charger, you’ll need a 240-volt outlet, which usually requires a 200-amp panel. Our qualified electrician will do a full assessment to confirm what works best for your home.
- No, we do not currently offer EV chargers for condos.
- Yes, we are Tesla-Approved Electricians, and we are certified to install your Tesla wall connector/EV charger. Having your EV Charger installed by a regular licensed electrician that is not a Tesla-Approved Electrician may void your warranty with Tesla.
