Enercare Announces Resignation of Chief Financial Officer

TORONTO, Jan. 5, 2018 /CNW/ – Enercare Inc. (TSX: ECI) and Enercare Solutions Inc. (collectively, "Enercare") announce that Evelyn Sutherland, Enercare’s Chief Financial Officer, has resigned to pursue other career opportunities. Ms. Sutherland has informed Enercare that she has accepted a senior finance position at another company. Ms. Sutherland will continue in her current role until January 28, 2018.

Enercare has commenced a search for Ms. Sutherland’s replacement. In the meantime, Brian Schmitt will assume the role of Acting Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Schmitt is currently Vice President, Finance and has been with Enercare since 2008. He has been instrumental in supporting the growth of the organization and has deep knowledge of Enercare’s business, coupled with a strong finance leadership background. Mr. Schmitt is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, as well as a member of the CFA Institute.
