TORONTO, May 8, 2018 /CNW/ – Enercare Inc. (TSX:ECI) and Enercare Solutions Inc. (collectively, "Enercare") today announced the appointment of Geoff Lowe as Chief Financial Officer, effective June 4, 2018. Mr. Lowe will succeed Brian Schmitt, who is Enercare’s Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis.
Mr. Lowe has more than 18 years of experience in finance. He started his career in public accounting at Ernst and Young and progressed through various finance leadership roles at Rogers Communications, Brookfield Asset Management and most recently Dentalcorp, where he has been the Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Lowe is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of British Columbia and has completed the Program for Leadership Development at the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Schmitt will remain as Chief Financial Officer until Mr. Lowe’s appointment and will support his transition and remain with the organization. Senior management along with the board would like to thank Mr. Schmitt, who has done an exceptional job in his interim assignment.
