Enercare Launches New Community Program To Give Families In Need A Fresh Start

TORONTO, Sept. 13, 2016 /CNW/ – Enercare Inc. ("Enercare") (TSX: ECI) today proudly announced the launch of the Enercare Fresh Start Program, a signature new corporate social responsibility program designed to help families transitioning between temporary shelters and a home of their own.

One of Enercare's key objectives with the Fresh Start Program is to give back to the communities where we operate by partnering with local organizations to help disadvantaged families living in a shelter due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances. The Enercare Fresh Start Program helps families get back on their feet by providing simple necessities, small luxuries and professional home tips essential to starting a new beginning in a new home. Families receive a personalized Enercare Fresh Start Comfort Package that includes everything from linens and toiletries, to toys and kitchen utensils, to ensure a comfortable Fresh Start.

The inaugural charity partner for the Fresh Start Program is Yellow Brick House. Working with Yellow Brick House, Enercare has identified the initial families to receive Enercare Fresh Start Comfort Packages.  In addition, Enercare has provided Yellow Brick House with subsidized commercial services, including the maintenance and replacement of Yellow Brick House's heating and cooling equipment at its facilities in York Region.
