The Consumers’ Waterheater Income Fund Announces Appointment of Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwire – Dec. 9, 2008) – The Consumers' Waterheater Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:CWI.UN), today announced the appointment of John Toffoletto as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for the Fund and each of its subsidiaries. Mr. Toffoletto comes to the Fund from one of Canada's preeminent corporate law firms, Torys LLP, where he played a significant role in the Fund's formation in 2002 and its subsequent legal affairs, including financings, acquisitions and commercial arrangements.
