What is a pre-authorized payment (PAP)?

When you sign up for Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP), we automatically withdraw payments from your bank account or charge your credit card before the payment due date on your bill.  PAP is an efficient way of paying your Enercare bill. It can help you save time and avoid late payment charges.

Do you offer mixing valves to help prevent scalding?

We offer mixing valves which control the temperature of the water going to the taps to help prevent scalding. They are part of the Ontario Building Code which makes them a requirement for new home construction but are optional for older homes. Ask your agent for more details and pricing.

Do I need an electrical outlet for the new water heater?

Power vented, Tankless or Conventional water heaters require a dedicated electrical outlet that needs to be within 6 feet of where the water heater will be installed. You will be required to have an electrician install a plug before we can install the water heater.
