I plan to move in 2024. What do I need to do?

When the time comes for you to move, you’ll need to follow the existing move-out process to transfer or cancel your Enercare services. If you have a Protection Plan with us, the Plan will move with you, subject to the Plan terms and conditions. Learn more about the move-out process here.

How do I enroll in pre-authorized payments?

Log in to My Account and go to the billing page to complete the required fields to enroll in pre-authorized payments. You can use a bank account, debit card or credit card to set up pre-authorized monthly payments. Once your payment information is processed, you’ll be notified of your first payment date.

How do I sign up for My Account?

If you have a 12-digit account number: Log into or sign up for My Account using your 12-digit Enercare Account number and the postal code of your property. If you have a 10-digit account number: Log into our Enercare Billing Portal to view your bill and manage your billing preferences.

My Enercare charges are past due with Enbridge Gas. Who should I be paying?

Past charges that have been billed through Enbridge Gas will remain payable to Enbridge Gas, and any collection activity should be handled with them. After your account’s billing change takes effect, new monthly charges for your Enercare services will be billed through, and payable to, Enercare.

Prior to 2024, your Enercare services were billed through Enbridge Gas, and would appear on your Enbridge Gas bill under the “Charges from Other Companies” section.
